Singleton Bypass

Project Details

The Australian Government has committed $560 million, while the NSW Government has invested $140 million towards the development of the Singleton Bypass. This eight-kilometre bypass is set to enhance travel times, improve freight efficiency, and represents the largest road infrastructure investment in Singleton’s history.

Kelko have been tasked with the construction of three bridges, one of which crosses a waterway. This project presents an exciting challenge, and we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in the complex details of major bridge construction. Our responsibilities include all formwork, reinforcement, and pouring tasks associated with the following items:

  • Abutments
  • Piers
  • Headstock installs
  • Mortar pads
  • Deck and approach pads

The above will consist of mix of PERI and conventional formwork, steel form for bridge piers and the landing of precast headstock structures.

Kelko Construction will be a part of the construction process from start to finish and are proud to be associated with such an iconic development which will be a key factor in modernising the Hunter regions infrastructure.
